Are you experiencing any of the following video playback errors while watching NBC or unable to load the NBC app? You may be able to troubleshoot your way through the following app errors or NBC video playback issues:
- NBC App loading failure
- Buffering video playback
- Skipping video playback
- Freezing video content
- Connection errors
Try the following steps:
- Fully close the NBC app.
- Check your Internet connection - you may even try running a speed test to make sure your device meets our recommendations. (You can also test other video apps on your device to check for indications of poor connectivity.)
- Check for app and system updates. To check for NBC app updates, visit your device's app store.
- Clear cache and data. To reduce the chance of data or storage-related issues, you can clear your cache via your device's settings menu.
- Uninstall/reinstall the NBC app. As a last resort, if the NBC app is not working on your device, you can delete/uninstall and reinstall the NBC app to help eliminate certain loading or live streaming issues.
