Did you run into an issue while trying to activate your device or link your TV provider account to watch NBC?
If you encounter problems while navigating to nbc.com/activate (*USA Network watchers who use Apple TV 3rd generation, please use http://www.usanetwork.com/appletv instead.), we recommend trying the following steps to try to resolve the issue. Try loading the activation page again in between steps to check if the issue is resolved. If you don’t notice an improvement, move on to the next solution on the list:
- If an app or channel will not provide an activation code, delete the app and reinstall it on the device.
- If the NBC activation is still not working, clear cache/cookies from your web browser. You can typically clear cache/cookies by updating your preferences in your web browser’s menu or controls. This step should reduce the chance of data or storage-related issues.
- Switch your browser to private or incognito mode. You can usually change to private or incognito mode in your web browser’s file or window controls.
- Try a different web browser. For instance, if you've tried unsuccessfully with Chrome, try switching to Firefox.
