This article refers to the NBC app and other brands’ apps within the NBCUniversal family, including Bravo, CNBC, E!, MSNBC, Oxygen, SyFy, Telemundo, Universal Kids, Universo, and USA.
If you are having issues linking (or "authenticating") with your TV Provider on the NBC app or NBCU family of apps, and also have Apple Single-Sign-On (SSO) enabled, please see this Apple Support document on how to sign-in and out of Apple SSO.
This applies to all iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Apple TV devices.
Most issues with Apple SSO and TV Providers can be resolved by following these steps:
Re-link, change or sign out of your TV provider - If you change TV providers, you can remove your current single sign-on account information or set up a different one. Here's how:
From your Apple Device,
On Apple TV, go to Settings > Account > TV provider
On iOS (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch), go to Settings > TV Provider.
Click or tap your current TV provider.
Click or tap Remove TV Provider.
Search for your new TV provider, then follow the steps to sign in (it works best when you do this from within the NBC App; try doing it in the app without signing back in in the device settings while troubleshooting, please.)
