What is a TV Provider?
In order to view locked content without NBCUniversal credits attached to an NBCUniversal profile, you will need a TV Provider - a cable or satellite dish company that offers a subscription to Television channels - that allows for online streaming of the content you are trying to view.
Users who write in to us often confuse this with an Internet Provider. Internet-only plans will not have access/authorization to play locked content within the app.
Please confirm with your provider whether or not they will allow online streaming of the content you are trying to view.
