General Questions
Question: Why am I unable to install or update the app?
Answer: Your device's operating system or app may be outdated. The Voice Official App supports iOS version 15+ and Android version 9.0+. If your device is running an older operating system, you will be unable to successfully install the app. Please update your device to the latest operating system and then try to install the app again.
Question: Why are the app's play-along screens not timed properly with the show?
Answer: If the app’s play-along screens do not appear to be properly timed with the show, it could be related to the specific show feed that you are viewing. The app is timed to the NBC television broadcast feed. As a result, if you are watching via a live digital feed (e.g. NBC App, NBC.com, Hulu live feed), the timing will be off by a minute or more due to the time delays associated with those feeds.
Build Your Team Questions
You can find answers to most Build Your Team-related questions by visiting the How to Play screen within the app. The How To Play screen is accessible via a link from the Your Team screen. In addition to an overview of the game play rules, you’ll find a comprehensive FAQs section and a tutorial video with additional information about the game. For even more Build Your Team information, see below.
Question: I've lost all my team members on The Voice App. Where did they all go?
Answer: Once you have built a team and logged into your NBCUniversal Profile with Facebook, Apple, Google, or registered with email, your team will always belong to you, even if you log out. Just log back in to access your team again, with the same Facebook, Apple, Google or email account you originally created the team with. Go to My Team > Leaderboard > and log in again via Facebook, Apple, Google or whichever email address you used to sign up.
Question: How do I know if I'm on the Build Your Team Leaderboard or not?
Answer: In order to receive points notifications, you must be signed into your NBCUniversal Profile. Please check to make sure that you are. If you are able to access the leaderboard, you are successfully signed into your NBCUniversal Profile. If you are unable to access the leaderboard, simply sign into your existing NBCUniversal Profile. You won’t lose any points for not being logged in. You just won’t be able to view your points or receive points notifications until you do. Once you are logged in, visit the Your Point History screen to view all of the points you have earned. The screen is accessible by tapping on the View Your Point History link on the Build Your Team or Leaderboard screens.
Question: Why has my score not changed even though I already built a team?
Answer: Please note that points are only added to your total score the morning after each original episode. For example, if you tweet on Friday, your bonus points for tweeting will be tallied after Monday night’s show and will then be reflected on the Leaderboard.
Question: Why am I not seeing my Facebook friends on the Friends Leaderboard?
Answer: To appear on the Facebook Friends Leaderboard, you and your friends must sign up for an NBCUniversal Profile using Facebook on The Voice Official App and then add artists to your teams before points are tallied the morning after each new episode.
Question: How do I remove an artist or reorder my team?
Answer: To remove an artist from your team, go to the Your Team screen and tap the Edit Your Team link and then tap the X next to the artist you wish to remove. Tap Remove Artist beneath his or her photo to confirm the removal and then tap an open roster position and pick a new artist from the list of active artists.
Please note that removing an artist from your team will reset his/her "days on your team" counter so be sure that you wish to remove the artist before you do.
To reposition artists on your team without removing them (and losing days), just tap and hold on the artist you wish to move or tap on the Edit Your Team link and drag them to the desired spot. When finished, hit Done Editing on the right.
Please also note that repositioning an artist to the "Up For Removal" section of your team roster will not remove that artist from your team until the next scheduled team size reduction. Artists in the Up For Removal section will continue earning points for your team (assuming those artists don’t get eliminated) until they are automatically removed from your team during the next scheduled team size reduction.
Question: Why can't I edit my team?
Answer: Please note that your ability to edit your team changes during the season. Check the How to Play section in the Voice App for more details.
Question: Why am I getting a notification that says I'm not eligible to vote?
Answer: The Voice Vote is available in the United States and Puerto Rico only. For official rules, please check back at the site closer to vote time.

Question: I am having NBCUniversal Profile log in or create profile issues, what should I do?
Answer: Please try the troubleshooting steps below:
- If you encounter a message saying "A profile already exists for this email. Please choose another email or use the link below to log in now": Note that your NBCUniversal Profile uses the email address, Google account or Apple ID you entered when creating a profile as its the unique identifier. If you created a profile using your email address, you can only log in using that email address. However, if you created a profile via Google or Apple, you'll have to use your Google account or Apple ID to log in; and you cannot log in with your email.
- If you encounter a message saying you entered an "incorrect email or password": You may have created a profile through your Google account or Apple ID and may need to log in that way instead. However, if you did not create a profile via Google or Apple, try resetting your password to your email login.
- If you want to reset your password, try resetting it here: NBC.com/request-password.*
If you do not receive an email from the password reset, you may have used a different email, or you may not have an NBCUniversal Profile account. To create one, use the create profile screen.
Question: Why does it say “You are not eligible to vote”?
Answer: The Voice Vote is available in the United States and Puerto Rico. For official rules, please go to nbc.com/VoiceVoteRules.
Question: Why isn’t the page loading when I try to access the online Vote?
Answer: If nbc.com/VoiceVote aren’t working for you, we recommend downloading The Voice Official App from the App Store on your iOS or Google Play on your Android device.
Question: How do I lock in my votes?
Answer: When the voting window is open, click on the artist you want to vote for, then select "submit vote." You can change your vote anytime until the vote closes. At the end of the night’s voting window, your vote will be cast for the artist you selected.
Question: How do I vote for the Instant Save?
Answer: The Save opens for all time zones during the ET/CT broadcast of The Voice at 8 p.m. ET. You can vote for your favorite artist via The Voice Official App or at nbc.com/VoiceVote during the save window of the ET/CT broadcast only.
