Download the NBC App for Your Device

Downloading the free NBC App is the best way to keep up with your favorite shows and watch the newest episodes. To get started, just look for the app on any supported device. The NBC App may come preinstalled on certain platforms, but on others, you'll need to select it from your device app store. See the list of devices below for details.

Android Phones and Tablets

Grab your Android phone or tablet and follow these steps:

1. With your Android mobile device, visit the Google Play store or click the icon from your home screen
2. In the Search bar, type "NBC"
3. Click the NBC App icon
4. Click the Install button and then confirm
   
   

Android TV

To download the app on your Android TV device, follow the steps below:

1. Visit the Google Play store
2. In the left-hand navigation area, search for "NBC"
3. In the app listing area, click the Download button
4. When the app is installed, click Open
   
   

Apple TV

If you're using an older Apple TV model (3rd generation), the NBC App is preinstalled and should be accessible from the device home screen. If you're using a new model (4th generation and later), follow the steps below:

1. Visit the App Store
2. In the Search bar, type "NBC"
3. Click the NBC App icon
4. Click "Get" to download the app

Echo Show

To watch shows on the NBC App on the Echo Show, make sure you’ve enabled the NBC skill through the Alexa app. You can do that with a voice command ("Alexa, enable NBC") or with these steps:

1. Using a mobile device, go to the Alexa app and log in with your Amazon credentials
2. In the sidebar, navigate to Settings
3. Go to the TV and Video section
4. In the list of skills, select "NBC"
5. Choose Enable Skill

Amazon Fire Tablet

Grab your Fire Tablet and follow these steps:

1. From the device home screen, select Apps and then Store
2. Click on the Search icon and type "NBC"
3. On the app listing page, select Free or Get App
4. When the app is installed, click Open
   
   

Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV Stick

To download the app, follow the steps below:

1. From the main menu, select Search and enter "NBC"
2. In the search results, navigate to Apps and Games to find the NBC App
3. Select the option to download
4. When the app is installed, NBC will appear on your Apps page - just click to open

iPhone and iPad

Grab your iPhone or iPad and follow these steps:

1. With your iOS mobile device, tap the App Store icon on your home screen
2. In the Search bar, type "NBC"
3. Click the NBC App icon
4. Click "Get" to download the app (and if prompted, enter your Apple ID password to begin)

Roku and Roku Stick

To add the NBC channel to your Roku device, follow the steps below:

1. From the Roku home screen, navigate to the Roku Channel Store
2. In the Search field, enter "NBC"
3. Select the NBC channel icon
4. Select "Add Channel"
5. When the channel is added, NBC will appear on your home screen - just click to launch

Samsung TV

To download the app on your Samsung Smart TV device, follow the steps below:

1. Using your TV remote, access the Smart Hub
2. Select Apps, then use the magnifying glass icon to search for "NBC"
3. Click through the prompts to install the app, then click to launch

VIZIO Smart TV

To download the app on your VIZIO Smart TV device, follow the steps below:

1. Using your TV remote, access the VIZIO app store
2. In the Search field, enter "NBC"
3. Click through the prompts to install the app, then click to launch

Xbox 360

To download the app on your Xbox 360 device, follow these steps:

1. From the home screen, navigate to the Store section
2. In the Search field, enter "NBC"
3. In the search results, click on the NBC App icon
4. Click through the prompts to install the app, then click to launch

Xbox One

To download the app on your Xbox One device, follow these steps:

1. From the home screen, navigate to the Store section
2. In the Search field, enter "NBC"
3. In the search results, click on the NBC App icon
4. Click through the prompts to install the app, then click to launch
